What exactly is 'SMS-PAYMENT'?

SmsAhead SMS-PAYMENT module enables businesses and individuals to charge for their product and services by using sms reverse billing. Reverse billing is a way of charging customers for sending a coded text message to a particular number

So how does it work?

Say you have a website that contains information you will like to charge people to use i.e educational, sporting or adult website. The website will be protected with a username and password. You will also have a text number and a coded word on the website.
When the user sends a text message to the number containing the code word, they will receive the username and password to access the website. The user will then be charged an amount to their mobile phone, which will be forwarded to you in due course.

This method of payment can be applied to any transaction where the user has a mobile phone and they request a small amount of digital data.
